Nimble Giddy

The Giddy is a special beast. It is made for fast and super high volume printing with less focus on surface print quality. It just pushes out filament like nothing else. Using the Giddy it's really hard to clog a hotend, the hot-end might want to sometimes, but the Giddy just shoves the clog through with brute force. That is also where the name comes from, Get It Done Damn You!

It is made for high volume, a large nozzle, fast printing. Sure, this does impact the surface quality, but for big fast prints, it is magic. It is perfect for use with an E3D Volcano or the Slice Engineering Magnum. Especially with abrasive filaments, or filaments with high filler content and big layer heights. These big layer heights also help to hide some of the surface imperfections.

Because the Giddy is a specialised extruder, we gave it a special price as well. So if you need to print fast and big, this affordable brute is for you. The Giddy just gets it done!

(The AAA battery is not included or required. Only shown for scale.)

The Giddy can be mounted left-handed or right-handed and uses an adapter system. This makes it easy to install and easy to switch to another printer. For details, check out the adapter page. It uses the same mounting geometry as the Nimble V2, with the same hole pattern and filament opening, so all the V2 adapters and mounts will work for the Giddy.

The custom hob and the breech lever system allows any filament to be printed. From super hard carbon filled filament to X60, the floppiest filament in existence.
